Lora LaVon is a freelance designer and teacher in New York. Lora is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has an MFA from Yale Drama school. She has designed a number of shows Off-Broadway and at regional theaters around the country. She has taught costume history, design and techniques to all ages, including stints teaching costume design at Brooklyn College and Muhlenberg College. Lora is the President of the Columbus Amsterdam business improvement district and is active in promoting and supporting small businesses in the Bloomingdale portion of the Upper West Side. She loves western wear, board games and traveling!
